Comedy Amon (Legend of Korra)

*  *  *

In the past, I've mentioned that I like the show "The Legend of Korra".  Well, since the second season of the show came out, I've lost a lot of that fondness, and have stopped watching it.  (More on that later...)
But the first season is still excellent, and I continue to watch that, even though I've long since finished it.
My favorite character from the first season is Amon, the Big Bad.  I was just all-around awesome, and I really wish **SPOILER** they'd kept him around for the whole series.**END SPOILER**.
Recently I found these hilarious videos, in which voiceovers make it appear that he is just a misunderstood comedian.  I thought I'd share them with you.   I hope you like really corny jokes!

(SPOILER ALERT:  The following videos contain possible spoilers for the first season of Legend of Korra.)

  1. Yes, I liked the first season too. I haven't watched the second season. Out of curiosity, why didn't you like it? Was it because of all the spirits? Those parts sounded dull and weird to me. Don't be afraid to give away spoilers for me...I kind of know everything that happens from avatarwiki... :)

    1. ***POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT***
      Yes, mostly it was because of all the spirits. Most of it takes place in the Spirit World. At first I thought it would be okay to watch, since I know that none of it is real, but I wasn't sure. So I prayed about it, and every time I did, I got the feeling that God's answer was no. So I stopped watching it.
      I did, however, keep up with it on Avatarwiki. I was kind of disappointed with the way that they handled Mako and Korra's relationship. To be honest, I'm glad they've broken up now. I hope Korra finds someone better than Mako. He's kind of a jerk.
      *GASPS* Maybe... now she and General Iroh can become.... friends..... ^_^

    2. Yeah...though I LOVE Avatar: The Last Airbender, I never appreciated the episodes with the Spirit World. So the Legend of Korra: Spirit season sounded pretty unappealing to me. : / I think the difference between it and some other fantasy is that it is so obviously based on a religion we believe to be false.

      Have you read the graphic novels continuing the storyline of Avatar: The Last Airbender? I really enjoyed them! The second trilogy, The Search, dealt with some spirit stuff, but it felt a bit more original and fantastical (albeit bizarre) then some of the other things. And Zuko and Azula were absolutely the BEST.

    4. The Blind Date one is my favorite. XD Poor Amon... I would laugh at his jokes. Corny puns like that always get me.

      Avatar: the Last Airbender is one of the best cartoon shows I've ever seen. In fact, I'd probably say THE best. I wasn't a fan of the 'spirit' episodes, but other than that, it was great.

      I have read both "The Promise Trilogy" and "The Search Trilogy". They were awesome! I'm really glad they put those out. I agree with you, the spiritual stuff in The Search was more on the fantastical side of things. We finally know what happened to Zuko's mother! ^_^
