1. If the main villain of your favorite book/movie/TV series showed up on your front doorstep, what would you do? (Explain who it is first...)
Hmm... for this one, I think I'm going to choose my latest favorite villain, Loki. :) Brother of Thor, and the Master of Mischief and Lies. While he used to be a loyal, loving brother, Loki's secret jealousy of Thor has gotten the better of him. Now he's a power-crazed idealist, bent on vengeance on his father and brother, and determined to rule Asgard for himself.
If he were to show up on my front doorstep, I would tell my siblings to get down to the basement and hide immediately. They're my weak spot, you see. If he even touched them, I don't know what I'd do. After that, I would get my sword and the pistol from the shelf, and tell him to leave. I want nothing to do with him.
2. Now supposing the heroes opposite this villain showed up just after your exchange. What would you do then?
The Avengers? XD XD Yay! I won't have to fight Loki off by myself! I would keep the kids in the basement, out of the way, and then I'd do my best not to hinder the Avengers as they did their work.
3. So... moving on, the heroes defeat the villain (with some help from you, of course- whatever it may be. ;) But the next day, you're just walking along, minding your own business, when you suddenly come across the same villain... who is now lying in the dust severely wounded and unconscious. What do you do?
Gah.... Loki, alone, wounded in the dirt.... of course I'd have to help him. He's a person, after all. I'd probably call an ambulance and do my best to take care of his wounds until they got there. Stop the bleeding, and all that. I doubt I'd be strong enough to carry him anywhere, so we'd have to stay put. Stay put and hope he doesn't need CPR. CPR is tough.
4. Now his minions show up and kidnap both you and him and take you to their universe (or version of your universe, whatever it happens to be.) Your reaction?
Aiieee! Just my luck, too! I would try to stay calm, look for any opportunities to escape, but for the most part stay well-behaved. I would hope that they don't need me for anything sinister... hope that I was only caught in the crossfire of some other scheme that has nothing to do with me.
on the plus side, at least I don't have to worry about taking care of Loki anymore.
5. Your fantastic heroes have arrived to rescue you- but now you're faced with a choice. The villain, out of gratitude for your earlier help, (assuming you actually did help him when he was wounded) has offered you a chance to travel back to your own universe. However, the heroes warn you not to trust him. The only other way for you to get back home is to travel with the heroes on a long and dangerous journey... and there's no guarantee that you'll survive.
What. Do. You. Do.
What. Do. You. Do.
Boy, that's a tough choice. On one hand, Loki is THE Trickster, the master of all lies. It would be just like him to turn around and stab you in the back. Look at what he's done to Thor! On the other hand, it has been shown in the past that he does have something of a sense of honor, and is not afraid to admit that he is indebted to a person. And he's not afraid to pay the debt either.
To pass up an opportunity to travel with the Avengers would be a hard choice to make. Still, if I actually went with them, there's no guarantee that I'll actually survive. And honestly... as fun as an adventure sounds, what's most important to me is to get back to my family. I think I might actually accept Loki's offer, on the condition that I'd be left alone.
Of course, I'd still thank the Avengers for their time and consideration. And hope that they'll be there to rescue me again if the whole thing turns out to be a trick. 0_0

That was fun! Now, I shall tag a few bloggers. Remember, if you feel like doing this tag, but haven't been tagged, feel free to do so. :)
I now tag...
I'm impressed; you're the first one who did this tag and actually thought about keeping your family members safe. I just kind of assumed I was home alone for it, I guess. And you're also the first one to take the bad guy up on his offer, I believe. I liked your answers!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I gave a lot of thought to this one... :)
DeleteIf you were home alone for it, great. It makes things so much simpler when you don't have your siblings to worry about. :) I assumed I'd be home alone, but usually when I'm home alone, I'm not really alone. I watch my younger siblings (all six of them!) a lot. :)
Yeah.... taking the bad guy up on his offer was the hardest part. That one really put me in a dilemma. Still, I've made my choice, and I guess I'll reap whatever consequences it brings.
Glad you liked the answers!
(By the way, I ran into the same problem you did- My favorite book series is The Lord of the Rings, and it's kind of hard to do this tag with a giant, disembodied Eye. ;)
You're welcome! And I can definitely tell.
DeleteI sometimes have my younger sister, but for the sake of simplicity, I decided to assume she wouldn't be there.
I can imagine. I didn't have any trouble, but that's because Morlan's one of those people who you can't trust at all.
(Haha. Glad I'm not the only one.)
Thanks for the tag, Elethia! I shall have to see if I can come up with some answers as good as yours. :)
ReplyDeleteYou're welcome. :D I look forward to it.
DeleteThanks for the tag!!! Looks like lots of fun. ;-) *winks*
