The Liebster Award!

*  *  *

Sent generously from Dark Wolf.  :)

1. If you had the choice to be either a superhero or super villain, which would you choose?

I would definitely choose to be a superhero.  It would be so cool!  I love imagining all the fun I could have, and the good I could do.  XD

2. What is your favorite genre to write in?

Aieesh... I don't know.  I'm exceedingly fond of medieval/steampunk fantasy, but I love the superhero genre as well.  Drama, Mystery, Romance.... I have stories in all of these categories.  I suppose I'm most experienced in writing Fanatasy.  Period.  :)

3. If you had the opportunity to travel to either a fictional world of your own creation or someone else’s, which would you choose?

But- but- I can't-  but... well, I'd probably go to Middle Earth.  I love Middle Earth.  But maybe on the way back home I could take a detour to one of my own universes.

4. Who is your all-time favorite fictional superhero?

I don't know if I have one.  Probably Spider-Man or Captain America.  They're currently tied for that position.  :)

5. What is your favorite weapon?

The hand-and-a-half sword- which I own, by the way.  :D

6. Between The Avengers and The Dark Knight Rises, which one did you prefer the most?

The Lord of the Rings.  ;)

Okay, okay... here's my real answer.  As I have yet to see The Dark Knight Rises, I cannnot accurately answer this question.  But the Avengers is awesome.

7. Name your top five favorite book series

The Lord of the Rings
The Chronicles of Narnia
The Nine Kingdoms
Sherlock Holmes
Howl's Moving Castle (three books with no particular series name)

8. What is your favorite fantasy creature?

Dragon.  Of the Western variety.  :D

9. What is your favorite movie soundtrack?

There are too many of those to choose from!!
I like soundtracks by John Williams, James Horner, Howard Shore, and Aaron Zigman.  Does that narrow it down for you?  ;)

10. Let’s say you buy a lotto ticket and end up winning a million dollars. What would you do with the money?

First, I'd put it in the bank with interest.  Then I'd use some of it to go on a trip around Europe and the United Kingdoms. Then I'd use some of it to help my family make some improvements on our house.  :)

And now, I will nominate the following people to answer my questions.  :)

*  *  *

1.  If you were to become one of your own characters, which one would you want to become?

2.  If you had a super power, (or multiple super powers) which would you want to have?

3.  Would you rather have a pet dragon that you could ride, or have the ability to fly on your own?

4.  If you were a different fantasy race, (i.e. Elf, Dwarf, Magical Being, Other) which would you be, according to your own personality?

5.  If you had to live in a different time period, which one would you want to live in?

6.  Continuing from the last question, in which time period do you think you would fit into the best?

7.  If Christoper Columbus had come to you and asked for funding so that he could prove that the world was round and find a shorter route to India, would you have given him funding?

8.  If you were given the option to travel back in time and alter one thing in history (whether your own life, or someone else's), would you do it?  If so, what would you alter?

9.  If a homeless man came up to you and said, "follow me," would you follow him?  (Because that's what Jesus's disciples did... pretty crazy when you think about it, huh?)

10.  If you were living in a story, what kind of character are you most likely to be?  Hero, Villain, Antihero, Anti-Villain, supporting character, evil minion/lackey, or the innocent bistander who's killed while uttering the Wilhelm Scream?

  1. Nice answers, Elethia!

I'm currently rereading Howl's Moving Castle for the third or fourth time. I cannot thank you enough for introducing me to it. Did you ever get to read Castles in the Air?

    1. No, I didn't. :( My library still doesn't have it.... Maybe I'll just buy it for myself. Or request it for Christmas! ;)

And you are very welcome for being introduced to it. I'm more than happy to share the books that I love with anyone and everyone. :D
