So what do you think? Have I cast it accurately? Share your thoughts with me in the comments below!

I totally agree with all your choices, except for Prince Rillian. I don't think either of the two you picked for him look right. Tom Hiddleston looks too . . . IDK. I don't want to say 'evil', but I'm not quite sure how to put it. And Bradley James looks too smirk-y, if you get what I mean. Other than that, though, great choices!
ReplyDeleteBTW, if this is identical to an earlier comment, that's because I'm not sure if my first one got through.
Your other comment didn't get through, so it's a good thing you wrote this one. :D
ReplyDeleteI can see where you'd think that Tom Hiddleston looks a little evil, especially if you've only seen him as Loki. However, I cast him because I've seen him in other movies, and I know that he can play some of the nicest, most noble and gentlemanly men there are. Not to mention, he seems to be a very nice person in real life. As Loki, he proved that he can swing quickly between being a charming, intelligent individual to being dark, almost possessed. I thought that would represent Rilian's enchantment rather well. :)
As for Bradley James, I put him in as a possibility because he too is capable of playing the noble knight as well as the slightly insane jerk. There were a couple other people that I considered, but these were my top choices. :D
Who would you cast? I'm always open to other opinions!
(By the way if you want to see Hiddleston in one of his non-evil roles, watch his scenes from War Horse. They won me over. :) I think you can find them on youtube.)
Yes, I have only seen him as Loki, as far as I know. I guess that does make sense, about his skill at switching from nice to dark. When you put it that way, it does make sense.
DeleteI'm not sure who I'd pick, since I'm not familiar with a lot of actors.
Thanks for the advice!
You're welcome! :D
Delete*racks brain* What advice? ;)
Oh, wait, I get it now. :)
DeleteOne does not simply choose between Kate Blanchett and Katie McGrath. :-P
ReplyDeleteSeriously, though, how could anyone choose?!
Well, as you can see from my casting list, I couldn't. ;)
