In Which I Appreciate Doll Divine Very Much

*  *  *

Lately I've been trying out Doll Divine, a virtual dollmaker with hundreds of themes.  I don't usually do stuff like that on the internet, but I've been having a lot of fun with it; especially the LOTR and Hobbit makers.  XD

Here are a few of my creations.  There are so many possibilities, it's easy to waste a lot of time there.  I couldn't upload all of the dolls I've done because not all of the dollmakers let you download the things that you make.  Oh well.  :)

Lianna Knucklby, a hobbit that I randomly made up.  :)

This one is a wizard... I don't have a name for him.  I imagine him as one of the two Blue Wizards who came to Middle Earth with Gandalf, Saruman, and Radagast.  Unfortunately, these two wizards disappeared into the East (Sauron's domain) and were never heard from again.  Perhaps they were turned to Sauron's purposes, or perhaps they were killed in the line of duty.  We shall never know... unless someday I sit down and write a fanfiction about it!  ^_^

Just some girl... without a name.  She does look like one of my friends, though.  :)

This one you've already seen;  a portrait of Miach and Morgan, two characters from the Nine Kingdoms Series by Lynn Kurland.  :)

My fanfiction character for Lord of the Rings;  Earendreth Mithcela, daughter of Galadhel of the Western Mountains, cousin of Legolas, Tenth Member of the Fellowship.
Sometime I'll have to post some stories about her... I've actually written very little.  She's mostly used as a Role-play character.

Anyway, if you're ever bored and looking for something to do, or you have a really cool character you'd like to see, I encourage you to check out Doll Divine.  It's free, and safe.  Though if you're a guy, I'll warn you that some of the girls' dollmakers are a bit revealing towards the beginning.

  1. Doll Divine is awesome. As a tip, you can get pictures from any dollmaker by taking a screenshot, pasting it to Paint or another similar program, and cropping out what you don't want.

Nice pictures too! My favorites are the random girl and Earendreth.

    1. Oh! Thank you! That would work really well. I never would have thought of it! :)

Thanks. I like those two as well. :D Though the wizard is a close second for me.

  2. Ooo, I did Doll Divine once! It was so much fun! I love your creations here! I've always suspected that one of the Blue Wizards went on to be Merlin. :)

Earendreth looks awesome! I'd enjoy hearing more about her.

    1. Ooh... that could make sense! While wandering through the harsh lands of Mordor, one of them stumbled upon a portal, and found himself in the middle of Camelot! XD

Thank you very much. I'll see if I can write (and actually finish) some stories about her. ;)

    2. And actually, if you compare the maps of Middle Earth to Europe and nearby places, you'll see similar areas overlapping. Tolkien was writing an alternate history to our world. He even came up with the explanation for Atlantis!

  3. Where do you roleplay, Rayne? I normally RP on the Nanowrimo forums. :-) My RP character is called Mithiel, she is Faramir and Eowyn's daughter and youngest child (her brothers are named Boromir II, no surprise, and Echthelion, which seems to be traditional in the Stewards' family), and her story really only begins when she is patrolling Mordor with a group of Rangers and finds the Silmaril that fell into an active tectonic site (heehee); it came to light, apparently, partly as a result of the destruction of the One Ring. She's multilingual (both Quenya and Sindarin, though more Quenya than Sindarin, which is a little unpractical if you think about it; the language of Rohan, which I can not remember the proper name of; and of course, Westron, and the dialect of Gondor), so though her fighting skills aren't bad when it comes to RP I generally am the designated translator and negotiator. Oddly enough, I haven't RPed with her very much recently. It's been mostly Star Wars and Merlin in a crossover world, which is mostly peopled with video game characters, so I feel like a rarity, playing as Obi-Wan and/or Merlin in a world where everyone else is Dark Link, Xemnas, etc.

    1. I roleplay mostly on a forum for a series of books that I read. There are multiple battle threads there, and I used Earendreth in most of the battles I did there. Oh, we had so much fun.... the Mirkwood Battle, the battle for the Crossworlds... I think there was another, but I can't remember.

Heheh, that cross-over world battle sounds fun, though admittedly strange. Merlin and Arthur meet Dark Link? Crazy! ;D
